Currently we are searching for our US-manufacturing plant a self-motivated

Forklift Operator (m/f/o)

Essential Duties:

• Operate forklift to transport semi-finished and finished goods to and from storage areas, work stations, and within other areas of assignment with the goal to keep all machines continuously running and in corresponding material flow.
• Transport dunnage to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment.
• All products are to be staged in a uniform manner, identified with process tags and customer labels.
• Operate scales to get weight counts for finished products.
• Unloading of raw materials and dunnage and loading of finished product on corresponding trucks.
• Set up and scheduling of pickups of finished product.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork (e.g. daily production sheet, process tags, packing slips, BOL's or other defined sheets neatly and accurately).
• Maintain housekeeping standards, daily cleaning of machines, and orderly production area. Break down boxes, clean area, wipe forklift down.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
• Perform inventory counts and correct existent discrepancies.

Qualification:

• Minimum of three years forklift experience (sit-down)
• Must be able to be certified.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Quality Awareness.
• Ability to speak, read or understand native language to ensure efficient communication with team leaders, management, customers and truck drivers.
• Read and understand the production plan handed out on a daily base.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to handle stress.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Understanding the importance to work in a team.
• Must have advanced Computer Skills e.g. in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc.)
• Must be able to use GOTEC's ERP-system.
• Must be team oriented.
• Comply with all GOTEC safety and OSHA regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
