Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: $18/hr. DOE

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerkto work on-site with our client, the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Individual will be responsible for receiving and the disposition of Laboratory equipment and consumable goods being returned from the field. Process instruments in accordance with all applicable procedures and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Individual will be responsible for interfacing with customers, leading personnel, maintaining service levels and quality control as it relates to Inventory & Information Management.
Scheduling trucks, taking inventory on shipments and entering information into a database.
Utilize lists and bar code scanner to load it into the computer.
Prepare transition assets and verify freight bills or packing slips, reconcile shipping reports, ensure items are being packaged for shipments and process information into the asset database.
Prepare shipping reports, update records, run reconciliation reports. Perform inventory scans and reports.
Manually count existing inventory and record totals on count sheets in a warehouse environment.
Assist with pulling materials for customer work orders, machine orders and miscellaneous requirements for shipment to customer.
Physically receive materials and put away on appropriate shelves, using JD Edwards locator system.
Assemble PM and Disposable kits and issue parts within the JD Edwards system. Maintain computer records for the receipt and issuance of parts in inventory, including basic analysis of historical records.
Perform cycle counts of stock materials.
Pull parts and assemble site carts.
Move materials to shipping area when orders are pulled for customers.
Analyze backorder reports and receipt registers.
Pick and check transfer orders for shipment to Logistic Centers.
Pick up and deliver shipping supplies to areas of the warehouse as needed.
Pack refrigerated sales orders for shipment to customer.
Pick ambient sales orders for Logistics Centers.
Load trucks.
Must stay within GMP compliance.
Complete OSHA log.
Operation of pallet jacks and lifts.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma
- 3 years' experience.
- Experience interfacing with customers, and quality control as it relates to Inventory
& Information Management.
- Experience scheduling trucks and taking inventory.
- Proficient with working in a database to track inventory.
- Experience preparing shipping reports, updating records, running reports.
- Familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
- Able to lift 35-50 lbs
- Ability to participate in and follow continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Tier boards, Kaizen, Gemba)
- Ability to follow cGMP, FDP, and safety requirements
- Ability to package and ship RMA instruments daily and deliver instruments to internal customers.
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills. Working Knowledge of Excel and Outlook
