SharePoint Systems Engineer

Amentum is seeking a SharePoint Systems Engineerto join our team and support our Washington, DC customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user and system requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system and lead design activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
• Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

Minimum Requirements:

• PhD degree in a related field, and at least 2 years of related experience in SharePoint solutions and engineering
• Or a Master’s degree in a related field, and at least 4 years of related experience in SharePoint solutions and engineering
• Or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 6 years of related experience in SharePoint solutions and engineering
• Or an Associates degree in a related field, and at least 8 years of related experience in SharePoint solutions and engineering
• Or a High school diploma/GED, at least 10 years of related experience in SharePoint solutions and engineering
• Possess the following certifications:
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (which includes either a Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, and/or SSCP certification)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certification
• Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $177,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• SharePoint solutions / engineering: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP (Required)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) cert (Required)

Security clearance:

• Top Secret (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Washington, DC 20340: Relocate before starting work (Required)
