About the Role
The Service Parts Coordinator is responsible for supporting the production and shipment of service part orders. Maintains an orderly system for Service Parts and tooling for past model service orders. Stages tooling and production component inventory for production. This position will coordinate with other support departments with regards to CPMP (Cosma Program Management Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). This is a salaried non-exempt position.

Your Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Validate integrity of Flow Router for all Service Parts
• Identify all Service Parts at Vehtek using pictures, cross referencing of customer production & service part numbers and in collaboration with Engineering.
• Establish the location of each part with clear references with ERP
• Determine minimum quantities required based on part history and current releases
• Forecast weekly requirements two weeks out at all times.
• Identity what parts do not have tooling available
• Coordinate with scheduling to run all parts with sufficient lead time to ensure 100% On Time Delivery
• Oversee that parts are inputted into the inventory system and system is accurate.
• Cycle Count all Service Parts on a quarterly basis
• Repack and tag to support weekly releases.
• Accurately book weekly shipments using customer assigned logistics companies.
• Answer customer screens for pull ahead confirmations
• Dispute service rating violations.
• View customer dealer claims web site for service part problems.
• Develop a good relationship with customer planners / analysts.
• Uses knowledge of Vehtek’s Materials Department processes in order to provide back-up coverage and support to other Production Control roles.
• For Launch Parts : Support Vehtek Launch Requirements with respect to shipping
• Integral part of the Production and Service CPMP process
• Maintain Customer systems
• Maintain Vehtek’s compliance with Customer MMOG requirements
• Participate in Continual Improvement activities.
• Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example.
• Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
• High school/GED or equivalent with previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2 – 5 years of previous logistics experience in materials management
• 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
• Display computer functionality with OEM specific systems
• Microsoft Office and previous experience with the ERP
• Familiarity with Vehtek’s material department processes and Service Parts for customers
• Previous experience in Customer systems a requirement (eDDL, SNC, GMCCA, eSupplier Connect)
