ABOUT US:
Sylvania Area Family Services (SAFS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1967 by a coalition of concerned citizens living in the Huntington Farms neighborhood. The group organized the agency to provide support services to strengthen families in the greater Sylvania community. Over the years, some of those services have included a food pantry, rent/utility referral assistance, adult computer education and online services, afterschool programming, summer camp, and a youth diversion program. Once known as the Huntington Community
Center, the name was changed several years ago to Sylvania Area Family Services to better reflect its mission.

Assist the Social Service Coordinator in day-to-day operations. This person will help in the coordination of volunteers and support the agency leadership wherever needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Must be reliable and timely.
- Able to lift donations and pantry items.
- Be organized.
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to help in all aspects of the agency.
- Assist the Social Service Coordinator wherever needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
