Large, Independent Used Car Dealership is hiring for an experienced Service Advisor. We are a high volume dealer, so we have lots of potential customers for you! A Service Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their needs , generating a repair order, following the repair through the service department until completion, ongoing communication with the customer, delivering the vehicle back to the customer. The Service Advisor will also be assisting other advisors and ensuring that they are providing a positive guest experience and following Hanna Imports’ service process. He/she will also be responsible in processing service claims and submit all reports to Accounting in a timely manner. He/she will also be the point of contact for the Sales Department for coordinating service needs and resolving customer issues after the sale of vehicle.
Responsibilities
Schedule appointments
Maintain a positive and efficient working environment
Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
Follow up with warranty companies and ensure all service claims are paid in a timely basis
Ensure proper administration of all service paperwork and reports to Accounting Department
Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment
Speak clearly and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone.
Assist other Service Advisors and Sales Department with resolving customer issues
Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
Must have prior Automotive Service Department experience
Dealertrack DMS experience a plus
Organized and friendly personality
Demonstrated ability to manage others
Time management skills
Fantastic communication skills with your customers
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
Clean driving record and valid NCDL
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
Must be available to work Saturdays
