Service Advisor

Job Summary:
Classic Toyota of Henderson is seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. This position is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, based in Henderson, North Carolina. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their vehicle maintenance and repair needs, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with our dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, with a potential earnings range of $40,000 to $80,000 per year. Pay will be disbursed on a semimonthly basis. Full-time employees are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, and assist them with their service needs
• Conduct a thorough assessment of the customer's vehicle and accurately record all necessary information
• Communicate with customers and technicians throughout the service process, providing updates on timelines, costs, and any additional repairs needed
• Provide estimates and recommendations for vehicle repairs, while upholding the highest ethical and moral standards
• Utilize dealership software and systems to schedule appointments, maintain customer records, and track vehicle status
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims with empathy and a sense of urgency
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and quality service delivery to meet customer expectations
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals by promoting dealership services and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and industry standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a Service Advisor
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure
• Proficiency in using dealership software and systems
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
