Server/Waiter

We are seeking an experienced fine dining server to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to provide exceptional customer service with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The server will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience to our customers through their excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and provide menu recommendations
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Upsell menu items without being pushy or aggressive
• Properly place cutlery and glassware for each course
• Clear plates and cutlery from the table using the proper technique
• Knowledge of wine and bar service and ability to make recommendations
• Open, serve and decant wine according to proper procedures
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and other staff to ensure timely delivery of food
• Ensure that the dining area is clean and presentable at all times
• Work as a team player to ensure that service runs smoothly
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining service
• Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
