Laperaux, The Journeymanchef's French Bistro, is a small business in Germantown, MD. Recently named BEST RESTAURANT GERMANTOWN 2023, we are a chef-driven and independently owned upscale restaurant and bar, offering classic French bistro dishes, creative signature cocktails, a nice wine list and customer-oriented service standards. Open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, with plans for weekend brunch services this spring. We provide high quality fare with an engaging, welcoming approach and a positive attitude. - We are looking for several experienced and passionate servers to join our team. The ideal candidates for this position have previous experience in the hospitality industry, are knowledgeable about professional dining room practices, and enjoy working in a quality first environment. A successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and stay on task.
Responsibilities:
- Successful server candidates will prepare dining areas for service, wait on guests, and support the flow of business with a team spirit with running side work responsibilities.
- All successful candidates will know how to greet customers and walk guests through our offerings, explain menu items, take and fill orders accurately and with efficiency.
- All successful candidates will maintain a clean and organized facility.
- All successful candidates will Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
