SalaryResponsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere - Process customer payments and operate cash register or POS system - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales revenue - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise Requirements: - Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling and safety regulations - Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques - Familiarity with retail math for handling cash transactions and calculating tips - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours - Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages As a bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while providing exceptional customer service.
