Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns or complaints promptly
- Upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies to maximize revenue
- Familiarity with catering and banquet operations is a plus
- Strong hospitality skills, including the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide exceptional service
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
- Understanding of retail math for calculating drink prices, discounts, and tips
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry
