Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals
- Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils, glassware, and bar equipment
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and restock as needed
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in using a POS (Point of Sale) system to process orders and payments
- Experience in banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry, including food handling and safety practices
- Ability to cater to different tastes and preferences of customers
- Sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or handling cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
