Server/ BartenderPart Time

$8.98/hr + Gratuities

Grand Seas by Exploria Resorts

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Weekends, Holidays, Flexible Availability)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through wait staff
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
• Clean bars, work areas, and tables
• Take food and beverage orders with accuracy
• Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff
• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Ensure expedient service of food and beverages
• Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times and willingness to help
• Handle guest concerns with a positive attitude
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-year bartending experience
• Must be flexible to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Must have a neat appearance and be well-groomed

Physical Demands:

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50lbs
