As server

- Greeting and seating guests: Fine dining servers should greet guests warmly and professionally, and help them to feel comfortable and at ease. They should also be able to answer any questions that guests may have about the restaurant or the menu.
- Taking orders: Fine dining servers should be able to take orders accurately and efficiently. They should also be able to answer any questions that guests may have about the menu, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Serving food and beverages: Fine dining servers should be able to serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. They should also be able to describe the dishes to guests, and answer any questions that they may have about the food or the beverages.
- Checking on guests: Fine dining servers should check on guests throughout their meal to ensure that they are satisfied. They should also be able to handle any requests or complaints that guests may have.
- Processing payments: Fine dining servers should be able to process payments accurately and efficiently. They should also be able to answer any questions that guests may have about their bill.
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area: Fine dining servers should be able to maintain a clean and organized dining area. They should also be able to set and clear tables properly.

In addition to these responsibilities, fine dining servers should also be:

As bartender
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to ensure legal drinking age
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or banquets

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and ability to recommend beer selections
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of retail math for inventory management and pricing calculations
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink recipes
