Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquets or special events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Must be at least 18 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus
