This is a full time, in-house position located in Clearwater, FL
Summary
The SEO Specialist reports to the Director of SEO, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of organic search marketing initiatives for an array of dental websites.
This role should be comfortable with all aspects of internet marketing and SEO, national and local. Day-to-day duties may include performing analysis, as well as creating comprehensive high-level SEO strategies for clients based on sound research, our proprietary tools, and the client’s overall goals, consult on business changes (including UX and listing management) all while building rapport with clients.
This role is responsible for the execution of client and expert recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Working with assigned website strategies to drive organic search performance across all search engines
- Uncovering and resolving site issues impacting organic performance
- Defining cohesive and compelling strategies for achieving clients’ SEO goals
- Implementation of SEO recommendations
- Implementing onsite SEO including content optimization, meta-data optimization and SEO-friendly site architecture.
- Implementing offsite SEO including Google Business Profile optimization, citation management and exploiting backlinking opportunities.
- Analyzing data to develop A/B test ideas
- Reporting on the impact of your recommendations and how it ties to client goals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of “white hat” and “black hat” tactics to maximize effectiveness of SEO efforts.
- Review top pages on the website and work with the creative team to optimize keywords and content.
- Utilizing available tools and platforms to build online presence by gaining trust and authority with search engines.
- Conduct competitive keyword research and evaluate tools and techniques to recommend or implement modifications as needed.
- Work with assigned SEO expert or manager to perform competitive analysis
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Or
- 1-2 years experience of creating and executing SEO strategy for websites
- Experience with standard SEO tools (SEMRush, AHREFS, Screaming Frog, etc.)
- Experience with Google Tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
- Familiarity with technical SEO aspects, such as web design (HTML, CSS)
- Google Analytics certification preferred
- Wordpress experience preferred
- Medical experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges
- Strong creative thinking and problem resolution skills that will drive client value
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and individually to drive results
- Experience with Google Suite products.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
