SEO Specialist for Digital Agency

AgencyPPC is seeking an SEO specialist with proven experience in on-page SEO and technical SEO audits, and off-site SEO campaigns (link-building, citations, etc.). The ideal candidate will have deep and dynamic knowledge of the SEO landscape and know how to adapt and improve a variety of client technical issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience generating data-driven strategies, guiding and often executing implementations, and measuring & reporting results (rankings, traffic, and conversion).

Responsibilities:

• Lead SEO initiatives and guide clients through current best practices as a knowledgeable SEO resource for our clients and our internal team.
• Audit/Troubleshoot Issues >> Create Strategies >> Guide/Implement >> Measure & Report Results.
• Ensure all aspects of client scopes are met successfully (varying from technical SEO to content development to link building).
• Identify, troubleshoot, validate, and in many cases implement technical SEO optimizations.
• Document processes, best practices ,and develop SOPs with the eventual goal of leading more junior SEO resources.
• Plan and develop SEO optimized content, including blog posts, infographics, web pages, and other linkable content pieces.
• Conceive and manage link building campaigns and track/optimize results.
• Analyze performance and report on progress (conversion, traffic, trends, etc.).

Qualifications:

• High familiarity with common SEO strategies & tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs, etc.)

• 3+ years of experience in hands-on, full-time SEO preferably in an agency environment
• Functional knowledge of WordPress (including Yoast and other plugins) and Shopify
• Superior communication and client-facing skills
• Tangible experience executing link-building strategies that have effectively improved rankings and organic traffic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
