Duties/Responsibilities:
Analyzes current search engine optimization (SEO) of the assigned website, including site structure, page structure, and internal linking structure; identifies and makes recommendations to further optimize each area.
Assists with drafting, defining, and implementing unified SEO strategies and campaigns that will drive long-term, sustainable site traffic.
Conducts research, data collection, and analysis to assess the visibility of the assigned website, blogs, social media accounts, and e-commerce pages.
Analyzes SEO traffic metrics such as search engine referrals and keyword rankings.
Collaborates with marketing managers and other staff to provide guidance and insight on SEO and optimal user experience.
Execute keyword research for various websites/projects and prepare & optimize content.
Perform on-page optimization, including internal linking, meta data, keyword usage and density, etc.
Support our SEO department by identifying and correcting SEO error using Google Search Console
Recommends content revisions to improve SEO and increase website visibility; changes may include incorporating new keywords and improving link strategies.
Monitors specific SEO efforts; gathers and analyzes data and reports results to the team.
Maintains current knowledge of developments and best practices in SEO.
Execute internal link analysis and create spreadsheets of broken links that need to be fixed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
This person will have an advanced understanding of WordPress. They will also understand more traditional technical SEO concepts (crawling, indexing, rendering, AMP, site migrations, page speed optimization, core web vitals, and more).
In-depth experience with website analytics tools, including Arefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog etc.
Experience using WordPress.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of website optimization techniques, ranking algorithms, and search engine spiders for major search engines.
Ability to work with digital content management systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
