Job Description
- Conduct thorough backlink analysis on competitor sites with the ability to be able to create and present your findings to the manager and director of the SEO department.
- Identify outreach opportunities, including guest posting, resource links, broken link building, unlinked mentions, partnership building and more.
- Research and prioritize target websites based on relevance, authority, traffic potential and other relevant metrics.
- New creative outreach strategies are always encouraged, thinking beyond the usual tactics and crafting uniquely tailored, engaging and attention-grabbing campaigns.
- Build relationships with potential linking partners through effective communication and networking.
- Secure backlink placements through content partnerships, resource exchanges, and other ethical link-building techniques.
- Monitor backlink acquisition progress and measure campaign effectiveness using SEO tools (e.g., aHrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console).
- Possess advanced proficiency in leveraging Google Analytics (GA4) to analyze referral traffic, offering crucial comprehensive ROI insights for optimizing link-building initiatives.
- Analyze backlink quality and potential impact on organic rankings.
- Report on link-building efforts to stakeholders and top executives.
- Strong desire to make date-driven recommendations to continuously improve & optimize campaigns.
- Regularly audit backlink profiles to identify and address any potential spammy or harmful links.
- Ensure backlink quality and relevance through ongoing monitoring and maintenance.
- Keep abreast of the latest link-building techniques, SEO and digital marketing best practices, and Google algorithm updates.
- Adapt strategies as needed to maintain effectiveness and compliance with search engine guidelines.
- 2-3 years of relevant SEO and off-page SEO experience.
- Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective outreach.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools for backlink analysis and tracking.
- Knowledge of content marketing and social media strategies (often complementary to link building).
- Excellent writing and editing skills for creating compelling outreach emails and content.
- Data-savvy and analytically sharp, but never afraid to think outside the-box.
- Be a goal-crushing team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience managing third party PR companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred, but not always required).
- Passion for SEO and Digital Marketing.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results.
