This position provides the following support for the Armament Directorate, Air Dominance Division, AFLCMC/EBA, located at Eglin AFB, FL. The Air Dominance Division, AFLCMC/EBA, has responsibility for developing, producing, and sustaining Counter-Air, Counter-Air Defense, and Aerial Targets (including control and payload systems) for our nation's warfighters and foreign military customers as well as advanced, high-impact, highly classified armament technologies and capabilities to meet joint Air Force, Navy and Army warfighter requirements. These products include, but are not limited to, the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM), the High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) Targeting System (HTS), Air Intercept Missile (AIM)-9X, Full-Scale Aerial Target (FSAT), Air Force Subscale Aerial Target (AFSAT), and the Target Control System (TCS). The Division is also responsible for all Foreign Military Sale (FMS) cases of AMRAAM and Specialized management acquisition and sustainment for classified EB programs.

Job Description
- Conduct reviews on armament programs portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved.
- Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective actions using application of engineering principles; perform validation of systems, including the development of criteria and procedures.
- Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems.
- Provide knowledge and experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) to include theory and engineering application of electronic warfare principles and techniques across armament systems life cycle for offensive and defensive electronic systems.
- Assist in the design and operation of ground and avionic radar systems to include; surveillance, tracking and scanning techniques applicable to RF wave propagation, advanced signal processing techniques, transmitter, receiver, and antenna design, computer and mechanical control methods, and multipurpose display consoles.
- Assist in the design and operation of threat system simulations to include; ground based and airborne radar systems, missile systems, passive detectors and active countermeasures, RF propagation, advanced signal processing, and dissimilar hardware performance comparisons. Also includes knowledge and experience with EW and threat systems to identify, define, plan, and implement solutions to offensive and defensive electronic systems; developing and implementing test requirements and procedures; developing data analysis methods, and other tasks as required for test planning, provisioning, and execution of offensive and defensive EW, Electronic Protection (EP) and DE projects; and aircraft and weapons operations and flight test methods as they pertain to EW acquisition.

Education and Experience Requirements
One of the following combinations of education and experience:
- MS degree in a relevant ABET accredited program and a minimum of 15 years of related experience
- PHD in a relevant ABET accredited program and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required; A current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communications skills and be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Well organized and able to multi-task.
- Ability to travel (typically beginning and ending during normal work week (M-F)) with Government notification with as little as 1 weeks’ notice
- Fully Proficient in the use and integration of MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point applications, and MS Teams.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience by providing engineering support in the AF acquisition process highly desired.
- Knowledge to include: EW modeling and simulation development; EW model V/V; data process definition; analysis tools development and implementation; improvement of operations analysis procedures; review of intelligence information, and; program management highly desired.
- Knowledge and experience with EW and threat systems to identify, define, plan, and implement solutions to offensive and defensive electronic systems; developing and implementing test requirements and procedures; developing data analysis methods, and other tasks as required for test planning, provisioning, and execution of offensive and defensive EW, Electronic Protection (EP) and DE projects; and aircraft and weapons operations and flight test methods as they pertain to EW acquisition highly desired.
