Successful candidate will assist with the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Draft financial statements and footnote disclosures for SEC filings by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed. Contribute to process improvements and implementation of automated financial tools. Participate with the implementation of new accounting and reporting guidance to include technical accounting research and design of new processes. Lead process improvement initiatives to support financial reporting. Provide guidance on the adoption and implementation of automated financial tools. Interact with internal and external auditors to include management of PBC's. Assist with the implementation and management of SOX controls. Complete disclosure checklists to ensure financial statements comply with GAAP requirements. Provide support, analysis and financial modeling for ad-hoc reporting and special requests from cross-functional managers and the executive team. Assists in the development of detailed budgets and cash forecasts. Provide analytical support, related to the strategic planning process with the company's Senior Management Team.
Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required. Must be from US College
• Min 5 years of experience in public accounting working with SEC clients.
• Public accounting and financial statement experience.
• Experience in the preparation of quarterly and annual filings (10-K, 10-Q).
• Strong financial analysis and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and thorough understanding accounting principles.
• Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with a wide variety of people.
• Able to work well under pressure and deadlines.
