Description
Research and develop computer vision (CV), machine learning (ML), and perception algorithms, to be deployed in future Ultra Cruise algorithm stack on GM personal autonomous vehicles (PAVs), solving complex math and optimization problems in areas including two-dimensional and three-dimensional Object Detection, Semantic and Instance Segmentation, Generative Adversarial Networks, Variational Autoencoders, Diffusion models, Fine-grained attribute understanding, Human Pose and Gesture Recognition, Image Sequence and Semantics Understanding, Image Embedding, Visual and LIDAR-based tracking, Multi-Object tracking, vision-based behavior prediction, Unsupervised and Self-Supervised Representation Learning, Unsupervised and Self-Supervised Domain Adaptation, and Adversarial Machine Learning (ML). Manipulate high volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources to highlight patterns, anomalies, relationships and trends with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques. Write high quality maintainable code in C, C++ and Python programming languages, using deep-learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, MxNet and Caffe.
Additional Description
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, Researcher, or related role. Must also have experience with: researching or developing computer vision (CV) and machine learning (ML) algorithms, solving problems in areas including Object Detection, Generative Adversarial Networks, Variational Autoencoders, Human Pose and Gesture Recognition, Image Sequence and Semantics Understanding.
