Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

This role involves leading and managing large, complex projects that contribute to the achievement of strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering on project goals while ensuring the highest quality. Experience in managing Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects in a plus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
• Direct and manage project development from initiation to closure to ensure completion of project on time and within budget.
• Oversee the progress of operations and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Effectively communicate project expectations, details, and changes to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to improve and refine future projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. PMP Certification is highly preferred.
• Spa, Wellness, Fitness, Cruise, Travel, or Hospitality industry experience preferred
• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Proven experience in working with a global team

 Knowledge and Skills

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Experience project managing AI projects.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organized.
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Understanding of how to get the best from the team and make them feel highly engaged
• Strong relationship building and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally
