Position Description:
The Sr. Project Manager provides leadership, technical direction, and applies a continuous innovation mindset from conceptual stages through closeout on commercial construction projects valued from $10 million to over $50 million. With regards to GCON's Operations, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with preconstruction, buying out contracts, and managing the project from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Ultimate and overall responsibility for all aspects of projects inclusive of safety, personnel, document control, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Earn client's trust through actions and performance on your projects.
• Along with the Business Unit Leader, assist Preconstruction with interviewing, selecting, negotiating and write subcontract agreements - ensure the timely buyout and contracting of all work.
• Manage all aspects of project cash flow (sub billings, owner billings, retention).

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing commercial projects valued anywhere from $10 million to over $50 million.
• Ability to learn and adapt to technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate+ proficiency with CMiC

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling or stretching.
• Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking, and sitting.
• Legs: Must be able to climb stairs.
• Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use
• Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination
• Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment
• Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio
• Lift/Carry: Up to 50lbs.
• Bending/Twisting: Minimal
• Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Minimal
• May require travel.
• Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
