SalaryCVL Consultants is a locally-owned collaborative design firm comprised of Civil Engineers, hydrologists, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors. Our diverse work portfolio includes master planned communities, urban infill development, high end retail, hospitality and resort development, and public parks.
We are seeking a talented and team-oriented Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our Water/Wastewater department. This person will provide engineering and project management for a wide variety of projects including concept development and refinement, preliminary and final design, construction document preparation, cost estimating and construction observation. These engineering projects include but are not limited to water and wastewater system master planning, infrastructure analysis, design of water distribution, pumping and treatment systems, design of wastewater collection, lift station and treatment, well equipping, and site design. All assignments involve client coordination, obtaining regulatory agency approvals and public outreach.
This position requires both project management experience and working knowledge of design for projects. Duties will include:
- Assist the Water/Wastewater Director in marketing and business development efforts to grow the Department.
- Review assigned projects during pursuit efforts and after award to define scope, develop schedules, determine work programs and needed sub-consultants.
- Manage a design team in performing project tasks.
- Work and communicate effectively and regularly with private or municipal clients as well as local state and federal agencies.
- Make effective presentations to councils, public and selection committees.
- Maintain project records for client and company purposes.
- Supervise assigned staff including hiring, firing and performance reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or higher from an accredited university or college.
- Must possess 10 years of progressive experience and 5 years in project management.
- PE or ability to obtain within 6 months for out-of-state candidates.
- Proven record in consulting firm organization and project delivery.
- Deliver projects on time and on internal/external budget.
- Ability to work on and manage a mix of municipal and private projects of varying size and complexity.
- Local market experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent client connections and ability to develop work.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
