What you will do:
The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor drives the E&I construction by ensuring all installations are completed with quality workmanship and per best construction practices per the US. Standards include but not limited to MSHA, NFPA NEC and NFPA 70E. The supervisor will assist with the development of solutions and definitions on the day-by-day activities in the field.
Main Responsibilities:

• Design and draft electrical contract drawings (AutoCAD)
• Perform Power Analysis of the projects (ETAP) and communicate solutions as needed.
• Prepare and provide electrical projects specifications.
• Provide construction administration.
• Respond to contractor requests for information.
• Review shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain and support project management.
• Perform field verification.
• Supervise, evaluate, and monitor work performance of Electrical and Instrumentation Construction to ensure that work is performed properly, and compliance with safety and construction standards.
• Promote safety awareness and accident prevention. Conducts and/or participates in safety meetings. Maintain the required safety records.
• Assist in the designs, plans, and schedules of new electrical projects, including upgrades or modifications to the existing electrical equipment on the facility.
• Ensure that calibrations and operational checks of process instrumentation are performed at the required ranges according with functional descriptions.
• Maintain required electrical, instrumentation, and communication network drawings, records, and documentation.
• Attend daily construction planning and coordination meetings and provides Electrical and Instrumentation technical assistance and creative thinking during the meetings to promote the most cost-effective solutions to electrical and instrumentation issues
• Assists in development and execution of the planning and control of the electrical strategy.

Experience and abilities you will need:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience in electrical and instrumentation construction within an industrial manufacturing environment Knowledge and ability to utilize computer software in monitoring and tracking data.
• 5+ years cement industry experience required.
