Trissential is currently seeking a Senior Project Managerto join our client team in Milwaukee, WI in a hybrid schedule with at least three (3) days a week onsite in downtown Milwaukee.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager oversees the efficient management of several projects, including workflow, finances, and resources for assigned teams. The manager aligns with the project sponsor on the overall project scope and timeline. Responsibilities include the execution and oversight of numerous projects, aligning financial and logistical expectations using timelines, schedules, budget tracking, and resource management SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). The position is accountable for senior executive engagement and reporting on the state and performance of initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a leader, you will demonstrate a strong talent for project coordination, team building, and delegation while embodying a 'Consultative Mindset.' Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Utilize extensive experience to creatively resolve complex issues and implement innovative solutions aligned with company objectives.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques, recommending procedural changes, and determining resource allocation for large technical or business support projects.
  • Coordinate activities and manage results, including costs, methods, and staffing, while fostering collaboration among project team members.
  • Network with key contacts outside the area of expertise and frequently interact with stakeholders, clients, and senior professionals to align on strategies and drive business value.
  • Lead large, complex projects across the organization, reporting on financial control, resource utilization, risk management, and change management.
  • Hold self and team accountable to program objectives, conduct review sessions with stakeholders, and participate in strategic planning for the program portfolio.
  • Translate strategic goals into technical strategies, establish project management best practices, and drive adoption of agile principles to enhance team productivity and product delivery.
  • Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives, scope, budget, and delivery plans, while managing cross-project and cross-team initiatives.
  • Evaluate program strengths, identify areas for improvement, and lead diverse teams to optimize productivity, engagement, and goal attainment.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, standards, and governance practices, while providing supervision, mentorship, and support to the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.  
  • Extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on agile principles and best practices.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with IT projects and Finance projects is a plus.

  • Flexibility and Resilience: Respond well under pressure with a sense of urgency to obtain results, maintaining strong team orientation and fostering relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager. 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate. 
  • Proven success in operating in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in project management tools. 
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes .
  • Experience with managing large-scale, cross-functional and global project teams.
  • Expert stakeholder management skills. 

Benefits

Trissential offers competitive compensation, with an annual salary of up to $155,000 or an hourly rate up to $80 for each hour billed. Both compensation models are full time (40 hours per week), exempt roles which are eligible for a full package of benefits including company sponsored health care, accrued paid time away from work, and 401k with matching.
