SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst in Quantico, VA who is passionate about supporting the daily routine and strategic efforts of a Marine Corps acquisition program. They will be working with our talented team engineers, logisticians and program support personnel to design and build the next generation capabilities for the United States Marine Corps Fires community.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving.
- May develop budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of the program.
- Participates in and establishes defining program requirements, monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree and 6 years related experience, or Masters Degree and 4 years related experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to produce accurate material trackers and production schedules.
- Ability to identify process improvement in accordance with DoD regulations.
- Able to work independently and efficiently with short term deadlines.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
CLEARANCE:
- Must possess an active SECRET security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Desired Skills:
- Military experience or experience supporting military organizations.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Microsoft Project).
