JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Cybersecurity Program Analyst will provide Subject Matter Expertise in cybersecurity, so DAMO-SOC is positioned to support the Army.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the technical, programmatic, administrative, and management aspects of Cybersecurity.
- Oversee the development and staffing of the key DoD, Joint, and Army Cybersecurity matters and how they will impact Army Cyberspace Operations.
- Coordinate and interface with staff elements of OSD, OUSD, Joint Staff, Army Secretariat, HQDA, ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRUs for cybersecurity matters.
- Provide DAMO-SOC leadership weekly updates regarding any changes or equities for the division related to cybersecurity.
- Assist in development and assessment of recommendations regarding the integration of cybersecurity to support Army Campaign Plan (ACP) objectives and to operationalize the tenets of multi-domain operations (MDO).
- Provide operational analysis, technical support, and recommendations for Army strategies, policies, requirements, and resources for cybersecurity.
- Assist in research and development of responses to inquiries from Congress and other higher authorities regarding any aspect of cybersecurity.
- Develop briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, military orders, memorandums, situation reports, and multimedia correspondence related to cybersecurity and other DAMO-SOC efforts as required.
- Participate in DoD, Joint, and Army projects, studies, and working groups related to cybersecurity and other DAMO-SOC efforts as required.
- Facilitate DAMO-SOC led meetings (schedule, coordinate rooms and teleconferencing support, develop/maintain contact lists, disseminate notifications, agendas, and read-ahead packages, and moderate), and develop meeting summaries.
- Track Army, Joint, Executive Communication and congressional actions tasks assigned to DAMO-SOC via Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) or the OSD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Familiarity with HQDA processes and systems.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 and Adobe suites of tools
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the military decision-making process
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet short suspense deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel in support of DAMO-SOC requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Master’s degree with 10+ years’ experience or BS and 12+ years’ experience.
- Significant experience working with Cybersecurity operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four years of experience supporting operations at the HQDA level or higher
- Experience and knowledge of military documentation process.
- Familiarity with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
- Familiarity with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process.
- Familiarity with the roles and functions of Army Cyber Command and the Cyberspace Center of Excellence
- Familiarity with the structure and functions of OSD, Joint Staff, HQDA, Combatant Commands, Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), and the Combined Arms Command (CAC).
