The Senior Product Manager will help drive the UX transformation initiative for MHK CareProminence portfolio based on input from customers, vendors, internal staff & management while including market intelligence. This role holds a key responsibility for steering the initiative, leading to product success through innovation, planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will have the passion and desire to improve the MHK product portfolio, drive innovation forward, and help remove impediments that might affect strategy and release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold responsibility and accountability for the success of the UX transformation initiative for MHK CareProminence portfolio, ensuring product market fit is achieved and the outcome is valuable for customers and viable for MHK business.
- Define a near-term and long-term product roadmap for the initiative that aligns with the broader team and company goals, and overall product portfolio strategy.
- Be the primary evangelist and expert for your product both within the company and in the market.
- Collaborate with sales and prospects/customers to articulate the value improved user experience within the current product portfolio.
- Foster close relationship with customer base and leverage feedback from multiple sources to help prioritize the needs of the product through the initiative.
- Inspire and lead teams by articulating the market problems and customer needs, setting the business context.
- Formulate business questions that shape the solutions.
- Evaluate and prioritize the ROI for improved user experience across solutions and workflows.
- Incorporate data into decision making as it relates to the roadmap and priorities of user experience transformation.
- Collaborating with UX and Engineering to build solutions and get them in customers hands timely and with high quality.
- Develop comprehensive product requirements that correspond to the roadmap and initiative priorities.
- Outline design approaches and communicate customer needs and efficient user experiences.
- Participate in Agile scrum processes as needed to guide product owners and/or scrum teams on the product priorities and requirements.
- Drive discussions around technical and design trade-offs to find a balance between speed and quality of solutions delivered.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider combination of experience and education
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact software products throughout the lifecycle.
- Experience working with healthcare products and SaaS solutions.
- Hands on background in clinical or operational teams within a Health Plan.
- Proven experience working on SaaS products within healthcare - where products must consider both consumer and internal users and understand the interplay of digital experiences with processes & people.
- Strong intuition and acumen relative to user experience and a knowledge of what makes a product experience exceptional.
- A clear and tactical point of view on solving the most important problems for your users, while ensuring your team has the necessary resources to execute on those priorities.
- Proven experience unpacking complex, ambiguous problems with an ability to ship simple and user-friendly solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience defining and measuring product metrics.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to research and solve problems independently.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
