Senior Planner

We are hiring an experienced Senior Planner for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Senior Planner, you will join a culture where safety and continuous improvements are a priority, and employees are expected to work collaboratively to serve our customers and support the business.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Senior Planner, you will:

• Identify materials and process requirements for finished good production orders.
• Determine lot sizes for general shipment and replenishment orders.
• Create and release production orders to communicate all details necessary to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor production orders through the planning process to ensure quality.
• Determine optimal processing of production orders.
• Forecast products in SAP.
• Develop/collect product specifications for input into SAP.
• Maintain material master data.
• Schedule/provide binder and tab specifications.
• Collaborate with production and/or other internal departments.
• Proactively build relationships with internal and external customers.
• Monitor all product components.
• Serve as a resource to the Material Req Planner 1.
• Lead special projects to improve processes.
• May lead tours of the manufacturing facility and train other guides.
• Provide quotes.
• May perform MCS Account Representative 2 duties as assigned by the business.
• May be responsible for proactively building relationships with internal and external customers to provide backup support to Account Representatives.
• May perform system testing.
• Supports other production needs as requested (e.g., flex labor needs).

About You:
You're a fit for the role ofSenior Planner if your background includes:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
• 4 years of work experience in supply chain planning, finance, marketing or a related analytical discipline
