What Nonstop is Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is excited to travel around the country, planning and attending partner, and client events, and who enjoys building genuine relationships with influencers. Client engagement and internal collaboration/coordination are significant parts of this job, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable communicating with various personalities.
We need someone who can effortlessly engage an audience – whether it’s one person at an event booth or 100 nonprofit executives attending a presentation. In many situations you may be the first “face” of Nonstop that potential clients meet at events, so client-focused diplomacy is imperative to be successful in this position. Our sales team will count on you to support them in turning leads into opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Big picture: You will be accountable for generating leads and converting them to opportunities directly with the employer and through channel sales. A key function of this role is developing and delivering presentations that engage and excite current/prospective clients and/or key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to communicate in a compelling, clear, and concise manner. While operating on a high level, you understand and accept training and coaching from leadership as a source of constant growth and development.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Travel to attend conferences to generate leads to create interest in the Nonstop Health program
- Travel to deliver presentations at conferences, partner and client events
- Attend key events as requested or assigned
- Take action and initiative and convert leads into opportunities
- Ongoing support of broker channel relationships
- Collaborate with the team and leadership on content creation for each presentation
- Support the sales team with lead generation and converting leads into opportunities
- Develop domain expertise in employee health benefits and human resources
- Support leadership in developing marketing plans and/or strategies (as needed/requested)
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum requirements for this position include:
- You have a sincere interest in changing the way companies buy health insurance
- Licensed (or ability to be licensed) with the DOI to sell health insurance (Life and Health)
- Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years of relevant marketing and/or event management experience required
- Professional experience working independently in a remote environment
- Independent decision-making skills
- Exhibits the initiative to learn and grow with position and department
- The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-functioning environment
- Public speaking experience
- Advanced problem-resolution skills, organization, listening, and presentation skills
- Excellent PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills
- Ability to travel 40% (or more during peak season) required
- The capability to cover all travel expenses upfront and receive reimbursement from Nonstop for 100% of approved travel costs within 30 days
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer per day
- Repetitive use of fingers, hands, elbows, and arms including typing, reaching, grasping, and writing
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and carry 5-30 pounds occasionally
- Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person and over the telephone.
- Visual ability is sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
