Job Opportunity:
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an opening for a Senior Marketing Manager in our travel insurance division located in Stevens Point, WI. This role will be responsible for managing our content and digital marketing strategies, to support and grow our ecommerce travel insurance business, driving profitable online growth and leading the business into new and innovative marketing channels. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success managing external agency resources, digital brand consistency; has a natural curiosity for new marketing innovation, and loves to learn and use new features, platforms and channels, to optimize marketing efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee spend, strategy, reporting and optimization of all digital channels including but not limited to Paid Search, SEO, Display, Paid Social, Digital Video, email acquisition, etc.
- Manage our digital performance and content strategy agencies, being the day-to-day contact while also directing and managing strategy.
- Identify content opportunities that drive organic optimization while also engaging our customer – work with content strategy agency to bring these to life following data driven best practices
- Manage the paid budget according to business goals and KPIs, being able to identify and consult on incremental opportunities and manage up as needed
- Identify additional marketing channel opportunities that are relevant to the business (not limited to CTV, digital audio streaming, etc.) and develop test & learn roadmap in collaboration with performance agency
- Manage our retention and acquisition email programs and identify new opportunities to optimize lifetime customer engagement through digital and traditional marketing strategies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with developing SEO content strategies and optimizing an online business’ presence
- Experience managing external agencies and their execution of campaigns and campaign management to align with business strategy
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools; Google Analytics experience preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work with various business and functional teams - excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Critical thinker with the ability to evaluate new media plans, pushing back, evolving the plan as needed, pitching new ideas and initiatives that will drive performance
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- Willingness to learn new platforms, make suggestions on marketing tech and ops efficiencies
- All candidates must have permanent work authorization in the United States
