Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Project Management to lead our Project Management team and drive successful project delivery. This senior-level role requires a hands-on approach to portfolio management and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, a proven track record of managing complex portfolios, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of Project managers.

Salary: $107,034.00 to $178,390.00 + Bonus (Pay is Commensurate with experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of multiple projects and programs within the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management strategy to align with organizational goals.
- Ensure that projects are prioritized, resourced, and executed efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
Project Leadership:
- Lead a team of Project managers and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Take a hands-on approach to manage key strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks promptly.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Communicate project and portfolio status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues within the portfolio and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address project-related challenges to minimize disruptions.
- Implement best practices for risk management and continuous improvement.
Resource Allocation:
- Optimize resource allocation across projects to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Work with resource managers to allocate staff and other resources effectively.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and portfolio success.
- Analyze data and provide regular reports to senior leadership to support decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.
Travel Requirements
Travel Requirements: Less than 25%
Education
Minimum: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree In a related field
Preferred: PMP or other relevant certifications preferred
Experience
Minimum Years of Experience Description
6+ years of Project Management experience, including hands-on portfolio management.
2+ years of team management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience managing large and complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Project Management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
