POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager, Market Access Strategy, will manage a series of core analytical Market Access functions including contract operations, managed care invoice analytics and semi-annual managed care business planning. This role will manage the rebate validation model and oversee ongoing maintenance of reports. They will collaborate closely with Director of National Accounts (DNAs) and Marketing to drive key insights, along with Finance and Commercial Operations on invoice validation, forecasting and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop contracting analytics to support contracting decisions
- Lead managed care contract operations, including contract redlining and execution
- Collaborate closely with Finance to manage rebate validation
- Collaborate with DNAs on the development of business plans for semi-annual reviews, ad hoc requests to support payer insights, and with Finance and Commercial Operations on issues related to invoice disputes
- Develop reporting and analytics to support Earnings Call Reference decks, payer level invoice accruals and payer level insights
- Support broad Market Access marketing initiatives, including gaining Material Review Committee (MRC) approval on pull/push through marketing materials and payer marketing materials
- Support internal sales force training on managed care related topics

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a similar quantitative field required
- 6-8 years of experience required with 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or consulting experience related to Market Access required
- Analytical mindset with passion for developing and implementing data-driven strategies
- Fluency in core Market Access data tools including MMIT, IQVIA, FIA, IQVIA Xponent, etc. required
- Strong communication skills and ability to advocate and influence through data analytics and networking required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required
- Critical Success factors: a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at a time
