Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Order Operations Leader to join our dynamic Revenue Operations team in (Boston, New York). As the Senior Manager of Order Operations at Datadog, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and optimizing our order processing to allow for accurate and timely billing to our customers. The Order Operations team supports the entirety of our Sales, Customer Success and C&A teams across the globe and this position will work closely with other departments such as Go To Market, Strategy, Deal Desk, Legal, Finance and Engineering, ensuring seamless order processing and efficient operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the Global Order Operations team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Analyze and document existing processes, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency while eliminating bottlenecks. Continuously monitor and measure team productivity to ensure deadlines are met for monthly processes.
  • Oversee data quality and hygiene within Salesforce, ensuring best practices for data entry, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to address and resolve order processing challenges, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
  • Identify opportunities for integration and automation to reduce manual effort and increase productivity.
  • Employ your exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex operational issues.
  • Work effectively across all levels of the organization, playing a key role in cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex billing problems and take corrective action where needed.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in revenue operations, sales operations or related role with emphasis on Quote to Cash processes preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing a team, with a preference for those who have led international teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Salesforce, with a strong focus on Salesforce automation.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Certifications such as Certified Administrator are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of different billing and pricing models and applying them to day-to-day interactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Ability to understand problems end-to-end and come up with creative solutions.
  • Ability to work with people and cross functional teams
