JOB SUMMARY
Truvian is looking for a Sr. Manager / Director of Supply Chain and Global Logistics as we enter the next phase of our evolution. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and implementing Truvian's overall Supply Chain and logistics operations, including strategic relationships, procurement, planning, warehouse, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the company's business requirements. This position requires proven skills in contract administration, negotiations, cost reductions and continuous improvement in operational efficiency and COGS, project leadership, strategic sourcing, R&D/new product development support, and effective management of the Supply Chain departments and external suppliers. You will also continue to expand our best-in-class team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Broadly, this role delivers Truvian's diagnostic products into diverse, global end markets.
This will require:
  • Direct daily departmental activities include the sourcing, purchasing, transportation, and warehousing of materials, as well as customer order pick-ups and customer parts shipments
  • Effectively building and maintaining relationships across the supply base that lead to effective partnership and risk-sharing
  • Increasing supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and program material availability metrics that directly have a positive impact on programs
  • Driving significant and sustainable cost out and PPV performance to yield EBITDA growth
  • Continuously improve the Supply Chain process by implementing new technologies and best practices.
  • Ensure appropriate Export controls & Trade Compliance requirements
  • Lead Supply Chain processes to ensure tools, techniques, and staff are competitive and applicable to the business needs. Develop a Supply Chain improvement roadmap and timelines
  • Oversee supply planning and Global Logistics workflows in a continuous improvement setting
  • Ability to effectively negotiate prices, quantities, purchasing plans, and terms to build a reliable supplier and vendor network
  • Establish governance and auditing processes to monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Continuously evaluate Global Logistics networks to identify and mitigate potential risks to current and future business goals
  • Direct warehousing activities, including the handling of materials, cycle counts, and inventory audits
  • Develop procedures and systems to manage all logistics costs across the company. Drive cost reductions while balancing service levels
  • Leverage industry best practices and market trends to evaluate current logistics practices and improve our current processes and strategy
  • Mentor and develop a team of Supply Chain & logistics professionals enabling scalable processes that lead to best-in-class results
  • Building a culture across the organization that supports workforce engagement, retention, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to manage and track spending against the monthly financial forecast.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of the medical device industry, including regulatory requirements, quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485), and compliance considerations
  • Implementing quality assurance systems internally and with an external supplier base
  • Matching capacity to demand; partner with R&D and commercial teams to develop appropriate paths to scale
  • Ability to engage in strategic thinking and align Supply Chain operations with the overall business strategy and goals of the organization
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Supply Chain management
  • Other Duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:
  • Designing and managing Supply Chain and global logistics, including the development of alternative Supply Chains for flexibility and robustness
  • Achieving impossible timelines through a combination of superior planning, proven assessment of risk, and the ability to inspire and enable others to move fast
  • Partnership and collaboration, ensuring relationships are at the forefront of our strategy, emphasizing the company and team over personal goals, and the ability to
  • Communication, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate frequently, clearly, and timely while keeping both internal and external parties aligned to deliver impact at pace
  • Tools including experience implementing and working in ERPs, Microsoft Office products, and more
  • Problem-solving, with solid analytical skills, which can be utilized to proactively identify and address issues with a solution-oriented approach with excellent time management skills
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related discipline with 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain and management experience at both small and large companies. Experience with ERP and associated tools
  • Strong leadership skills. A team player with outstanding communication skills
  • Curious and solution-driven. Enjoys negotiating and building relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and jobs at the same time.
  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid track record in meeting substantial material cost reduction targets
  • Agile and flexible, pragmatic, and able to react quickly to a changing environment

SALARY RANGE
  • $137,500 to $170,000 Annually

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Ability to lift and move over 25 lbs. repeatedly and safely, occasionally 75 lbs. with assistance
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
