Senior Living Caregiver

Zinnia Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver at our assisted living facility, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors and who embrace a person-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting residents' dignity and independence.
• Support residents in taking medications as prescribed, and communicate with nursing staff regarding any concerns or changes in residents' health.
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and companionship.
• Assist residents during meal times, ensuring they have the support they need and monitoring for any dietary restrictions.
• Provide support with walking, transfers, and mobility aids as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to the nursing and management teams.
• Contribute to creating a safe and clean living environment for residents by following established protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to assist and care for seniors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• High school diploma, or equivalent

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
