We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with feeding as necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with residents
- Escort residents to activities.
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
- Proficient in documenting care provided and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle emergencies calmly
Note: Prior experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training for all new caregivers.
