Be a part of Design Enablement Process Design Kit Quality Assurance (DE PDK QA) team. Candidate will be responsible for the qualification of PDK custom library collaterals, utilizing industry-standard tools.
Candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Understand Analog Design; evaluate and characterize template devices.
- Document specifications; execute industry standard layout design and simulation tools.
- Analyze results and apply advanced troubleshooting for issues with devices/tools/flows.
- Develop solutions to problems, utilizing formal education and judgement; collaborate with stakeholders and develop automation tests (testcase generation, design collateral validation).
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs.

Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a MS degree with 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in the following:
- Analog design, validation, and debug
- Industry-standard CAD (Virtuoso) and EDA (Hspice/Spectre simulator) tools
- Device physics and primitive models
- Circuit design, simulation
- Programming experience in Python
1+ years of experience in the following:
- Test automation
- Custom templates (ESD cells, capacitors, resistors etc.).
- Foundry and Process Design Kit (PDK) development, validation.
- Programming experience in SKILL.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
