Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Design and Development Lead to join our team. As the lead of our Product Design and Development efforts, you will play a crucial role in bringing innovative and stylish leather goods to market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Product Design, development, and manufacturing processes, with expertise in using Adobe Suite and creating detailed tech packs.

Responsibilities: Product Design: Develop and execute creative and innovative designs for leather goods, aligning with the brand's aesthetic and market trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts meet brand standards, customer expectations, and manufacturing feasibility.

Tech Pack Creation: Create detailed and accurate tech packs for each product, providing comprehensive instructions to manufacturers for production. Work closely with the production team to address any technical challenges and ensure the successful translation of designs into finished products.

Adobe Suite Expertise: Utilize Adobe Suite (including Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools) to create visually appealing and technically precise design concepts and presentations. Proficiently use Adobe Suite for digital rendering, pattern creation, and other design-related tasks.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to understand product requirements and ensure cohesive design alignment. Effectively communicate design concepts and technical specifications to both internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control processes to maintain high product standards throughout the Design and Development lifecycle. Conduct thorough evaluations of prototypes and samples to ensure they meet design specifications.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proven experience as a Product Design and Development Lead, preferably in the fashion or leather goods industry. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, with a strong emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop. Demonstrated ability to create detailed tech packs for manufacturing. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, particularly related to leather goods. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Creative mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics and market trends.
