The Senior HR Leader is responsible for developing and executing Human Resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
Essential Functions:
Serves as the HR Business Partner to the Senior Management team.
- Partners with the CEO and other senior leaders in the development of strategic plans.
- Establishes and implements HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.
- Develops HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
- Collaborates with CFO, Controller, and other senior leaders in the development of budgets, and manages HR budget categories to ensure budget attainment.
- Evaluates, diligences, and integrates HR functions of acquisition targets.
Builds and leads a high-performing, accountable, proactive, and positive HR leadership team.
- Ensures managers are supported by high quality HR business partners.
- Anticipates business needs, manages predictable events, and gets ahead of them.
- Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s Human Resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Ensures HR resources are adequate and appropriately scaled for the organization.
Champions team member wellness, development, and community connections.
- Builds strategies for team member development including training, coaching, and mentoring to develop leaders at every level.
- Strategically selects and builds programs that foster a community that cares and a team that performs.
- Oversees team member appreciation events and activities and recognition programs.
- Develops and oversees ongoing, proactive team member communications to reinforce culture and ongoing team member development.
- Develops opportunities for team members to engage the community, participate in service, and grow in spiritual/moral health.
Leads the development and execution of compensation and benefit strategies that support our business goals and reflect our values, and oversees benefit administration.
- Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the Human Resource management team; assists with resolution of Human Resources, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
Develops, maintains, and monitors policy, procedure, and systems to ensure adequate institutional controls and risk management.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, Human Resources, and talent management.
Develops and manages recruiting and organizational development activities.
- Develops and maintains succession plans for key positions.
- Personally recruits or oversees the recruitment of key management positions.
- Develops and maintains KPIs for recruiting/open positions.
- Manages recruiting budgets and use of external recruiters and resources.
Develops and leads systems and processes to assess and reward team member performance.
- Rebuilds team member review process.
- Partners with managers to ensure appropriate discipline and remediation are provided when team members do not meet expectations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
