The Opportunity:

Your role at Sephora: As a Senior Dayforce HRIS Business Partner, HR Systems you would provide functional and technical support for Sephora’s HR technology platforms in Ceridian Dayforce including Time and Attendance, Labor Scheduling, Entitlements, Payroll, Reporting, Interfaces and other appropriate Platforms and Processes.


This role will be part of a team supporting HR functions such as – Payroll, Compliance, Accounting, Benefits and Time and Attendance. Major activities include understanding the needs of the different functions, requirements gathering, refining of scope, analyzing data sources, creating specification documents, design and build system features/functionalities, assisting with production support configurations and user acceptance testing.


Reporting to the Dir, HR Systems and Technology, you will be in a hands-on role in the full Agile, Scrum life cycle, from user story ideation through prioritization, development, deployment of HR system features/functionalities as well as production support.


In addition, you will:

  • Facilitate workshops, documenting outcomes and agreed design decisions, create specification documents for system implementations
  • You should be able to communicate at various levels from senior business stakeholders to technical subject matter experts in designing and developing technical system solutions
  • Serve as the SME and Technology Analyst for technology projects/design/implementations
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide high-quality customer support
  • Refine processes, standards, and workflows that maximize efficiency and data integrity in the Dayforce modules
  • Work closely with our HR Operations, People Analytics team in ensuring upstream to downstream flow of data and user adoption is seamless, in case of issues, evaluate, analyze, plan and implement fixes to the source
  • Be a collaborative partner to Dayforce IT

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 8+ years in IT application design/development and support, including cross-domain experience on Global HR Transformation Programs and Technologies
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and strategic project teams in implementation, maintenance and support of Ceridian Dayforce HCM solutions including Talent & Benefits Intelligence, Workforce Management (WFM) HR, Advanced HR Analytics, and Payroll
  • Leads all phases of the Dayforce implementation including Discovery, Configuration, Testing, Go-live and Post Go-Live
  • Collects, document & validate business functional requirements, mapping to Dayforce functionality
  • Configure Ceridian Dayforce to meet business functional requirements
  • Provides internal status updates, noting issues/risks with recommended resolution to Green
  • Implements Organizational Readiness best practices in preparation for rollout
  • Prepare and Train UAT team members for them to capably perform day-to-day activities
  • Identifies best practices/lessons learned & document/share internally for continuous improvement.
  • Completes new release training as needed & be our expert on Ceridian Dayforce
  • Perform Permissions and Configurations changes in Dayforce System
  • Candidate should have knowledge and experience to configure / develop within Dayforce system in the following areas:
  • Time and Attendance
  • Labor Scheduling
  • Entitlements
  • Payroll
  • Reporting
  • Interfaces

Candidate should have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in the following areas

  • XML / XSLT
  • Encryption
  • Web Services


The annual base salary range for this position is $124,000.00 - $168,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
