Based in our National Support Center in south Denver, Tuff Shed is recruiting for a Senior HRIS Analyst. We are looking for someone who serves as the subject matter expert on all Human Resources Systems and maintains the integrity and reliability of HR systems including payroll, benefits, recruiting, learning management and human resources, ensuring applications meet the needs and requirements of Tuff Shed.

The essential functions for this position include but are not strictly limited to:
HRIS Management

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of HRIS, including Ceridian Dayforce, SPIFF and the LMS systems which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports
  • Researches and troubleshoots issues if/when they arise. Escalates issues, as appropriate, by creating support tickets and working with vendor(s) to resolve
  • Lead HRIS-related projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines and resources effectively, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Troubleshoot internal and external integrations and file feed issues
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data consistency and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and contribute to data privacy initiatives

Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Develop and generate custom reports and analytics to support HR and business leaders
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements

Process Improvement
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in all HR systems; recommend/implement best practices

Collaboration and Communication
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, training and guidance to HR team members and end users
  • Collaborates with HR, IT and leadership to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions
  • Champions the relationships with HRIS vendors to facilitate new updates, releases, and outstanding technical support issues.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects
  • Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Tuff Shed management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 years of experience working in an HR environment managing HRIS/HRMS, such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Paycor etc. preferred.
  • Excellent work planning and execution/delivery skills including problem-solving, prioritization, and task-level management.
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities in a sometimes-ambiguous work environment.
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, approachable, and articulate team player
  • Demonstrates the ability to design and develop products based on interpretation and evaluation of business data.
  • General knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Good problem-solving skills: able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrences.
  • Attention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and end user experience.

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or requisite experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience
