The Senior HR Director, Central Region provides talent strategy and execution for the Regions and associated sites. This role also supports and guides employees across all levels of the organization. In addition, it ensures that the Region and Site leadership teams focus on delivering a positive and productive work environment for all team members. In this role, you will report to the CHRO and be a member of an exceptionally talented HR team and a member of the senior regional leadership team known for its ability to collaborate, support each other, and provide great outcomes together. This role is a hybrid role, with 25% travel. Ideally, the candidate will be based in Dallas but may also work out of St. Peter, MN, and Milwaukee, WI sites.
- An active member of the Regional Leadership team, guiding both the longer-term strategy for the region and delivering on the region's day-to-day priorities.
- Provide strong strategic guidance and support to senior leadership team across multi-site/multi-country geographies.
- Forecast and plan the region's talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy in collaboration with Region Leadership
- Execute region talent strategies for high-potential development, succession planning, and collaborating with Corporate Talent on systems and processes for Career Profiles and Planning.
- Diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans.
- Execute regional/site-level strategies to improve engagement, retention, and overall positive culture.
- Led the talent management strategy, including the talent calibration process, leadership development, training initiatives, and facilitating training sessions.
- Provide strong employee relations.
- Serves as an advisor to management for employment-related legal issues and ensures local compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local governance
- Leads/manages projects and/or participates as a project member
- Provide leadership and functional development to local P&C team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years' experience (postgraduate) and 5+ years' experience in Senior HR leadership within a large operation (manufacturing or similar industry).
- Strong operation understanding of what drives the business strategy and how to develop a supporting P&C/Talent strategy to achieve shared objectives.
- Experience in and extensive knowledge of all aspects of technical human resource management.
- Able to effectively lead and develop a large human resource function and a team of professionals.
