JOB SUMMARY
Therole of Senior Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor of CBC is responsible for direct support and oversightof the office of Lead Pastor Ed Newton. This role's administrative and clericaltasks require high professionalism, confidentially, and compassion in allaspects of duties and responsibilities.Provides effective administrative support and broad oversight in all areaspertaining to the office of the Lead Pastor, including scheduling, managing calendars,intercepting correspondence, planning and making travel arrangements,coordinating varying events and special projects, sermon management, and servesas liaison to the Lead Pastor. Must exemplify an excellent work ethic, exhibita forward-thinking mindset, be well-organized, communicate effectively, and bedetail-oriented.

- FrontLine representative of Lead Pastor Office
- Provideshigh-level administrative support and assistance to the Lead Pastor ofCommunity Bible Church
- Servesas Corporate Secretary; tasks include Minute-taking at all semi-monthly Boardof Directors meetings and providing timely notices according to CBC Bylaws.
- Monitorsand oversees all Lead Pastor incoming emails; Serves as a delegate on designated emailaccounts and direct oversight for all incoming communication
- Responsiblefor weekly sermon/outline editing, bible verse research, and validates accuracyfor weekend listener guides
- Maintainsand updates extensive sermon database by sermon series and date
- Assistwith Biblical research and content for sermon series topics as needed
- Servesas point of contact for CBC Bible Tour inquiries
- Servesas lead and point of contact for all EN Ministry inquiries - facilitatesmonthly meetings and works closely with EN team to ensure consistent messagingand communication across all social platforms
- Arrangestravel and accommodations for Lead Pastor
- Reconcilemonthly credit card statements and facilitate check requests
- Manage allLead Pastor calendars, assign and schedule meetings
- OverseeCBC Master Event calendar
- Gatherand prioritize incoming mail and gifts
- Organize monthly staff Birthdaycards and send thank you cards as needed
- Schedule and facilitate ExecutiveAdmin/AA monthly meetings
- Responsible for general errands to gathersupplies and order lunches as meetings and events warrant for both LP offices-2A and Greenroom
- Professionally interact and represent CBC inall LP communication with congregants, city leaders, and other churchpastors/leaders
- Other duties as assigned

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days andhours of operation are scheduledMonday - Thursday.Working weekends may be required as job duties demand.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee may be regularly required to do the following:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- HighschoolDiploma or GED (required)
- At least3-5 years of work experience in a high-level administrativesupport position
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are performed in an office settingwhere the work and general environment may be fast-paced and hectic attimes. Therefore, it is essential that the employeecan effectively handle thenormal anxieties associated with thejob and manage multiple projects in a service-oriented environment. Environmentalnoise levels are minimal.
