Our client is currently seeking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their team. The main focus of this role will be design, develop, and prototype electronic hardware as defined by customer requirements and in-house production needs. This person will learn the ropes from more experienced members of the team and become an expert in the PCB industry. What you will be doing:
- Conceptualize design requirements from blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions to design and develop new products or to improve existing products as directed by Design Engineering Manager.
- Simulate critical portions of any design to verify that it will function as required.
- Create the schematics, PCB layouts, cable drawings, bills of materials, and any other documentation needed to produce the design.
- Create or modify software to make the hardware function properly, as required.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree and electronic design experience or equivalent combination of education and electronic design experience
- Knowledge of programmable logic development
- Working proficiency and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, internet software, PCB schematic capture/layout software, electronic simulation software, and software development tools.
- PCB Design experience required
