Position Summary
The Senior Director of Operations will manage the daily Operations and will be responsible for ensuring Mulligan Security's services are consistent with client expectations and always remain in compliance with established company guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations. The Senior Director of Operations will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage and train an Operations Management team and evaluate these individuals' effectiveness in carrying out required client and Mulligan Security objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the company operations.
- Work directly with clients at all levels to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage overtime, zero hour (attrition), and budget for the entire business portfolio and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Provide weekly reports to the VP of Operations regarding operational updates and issues.
- Respond to and facilitate emergency procedures through police/fire departments.
- Facilitate weekly client meetings and attend after-hours client and tenant board meetings as needed.
- Accompany Business Development in prospect meetings and presentations.
- Coordinate and oversee all new job start-ups and ensure contract obligations are met in accordance with Mulligan Security guidelines.
- Assist with developing, reviewing, and maintaining post orders (job responsibilities) for each client location/post.
- Provide support and make recommendations to Operations Management with respect to disciplinary actions by proactively identifying, addressing, and documenting disciplinary action up to and including final warnings in collaboration with HR.
- Make documented recommendations for employment actions, including suspensions, terminations, transfers, etc., to be reviewed by HR.
- Oversee, guide, and evaluate the Field Supervisor and Dispatch Teams.
- Develop and disseminate all Operations Policies and Procedures in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources.

- Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the guarding industry managing at least 350 officers and a portfolio of at least 30 private clients.
- Strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in client relations.
- Strong preference for candidates with a bachelor's degree and experience managing profit/loss statements and client negotiations/collections matters.
- Prior verifiable employment references and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pay Range
$125,000 - $135,000
