Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategies meant to improve the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.
- Identifies manufacturing processes or procedures that could benefit from process improvement or efficiency
- Develops a manufacturing plan for the Division that increases profit for the business.
- Establishes appropriate Divisional KPI’s and tracks plant performance against assigned metrics.
- Responsible for Divisional annual budget preparation and adherence at each site location.
- In partnership with Divisional HR, QA, and EHS develop, review and support implementation of strategic policies and procedures.
- Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the business segments within the Division.
- Review and analyze manufacturing capabilities to support future sales and R&D expectations.
- Support capital installations and integrate new customers and product lines into existing production
- and distribution.
- Provide Divisional leadership necessary for achieving plant and corporate goals in the area of Safety, Quality, Labor Relations, Customer Service, and Cost (CPU and Variances).
- Provide leadership for effective employee relations through positive proactive communication, coaching, training, problem resolution, and follow up.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and/or at least 10 years of experience in Plant Leadership role.
