Position Summary
Responsible for leading the enterprise-wide learning governance strategy, nuclear accredited and non-accredited training. Nuclear instructional technology & leadership, Nuclear maintenance, technical and energy supply, Enterprise non- nuclear maintenance training, nuclear medical compliance, and enterprise technical simulation programs. Supervisory responsibilities include providing leadership to both nuclear site training directors, fleet training supervisors, enterprise simulation management, medical compliance personnel and nuclear instructional technology staff. Additionally, this position ensures initial and continuing training complies with applicable regulatory requirements, National Academy requirements, NRC operating licenses, the Quality Assurance Plan and Nuclear and Enterprise Strategic priorities. Responsible for the training and certification as well as the quantity and quality of instructional staff and training program curriculums and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and provide leadership and strategic support to reporting staff. This includes managing their performance providing candid feedback and assisting in their personal development.
  • Provide oversight to assure that training is systematically conducted to continuously improve plant performance manage risk implement excellence plans comply with training regulatory requirements maintain the accreditation of the operator and technical staff / programs.
  • Implements and maintains Key Performance Indicators which communicate real time Nuclear & Enterprise Learning's organizational health, operational effectiveness, efficiency and experience.
  • Leads Enterprise Learning Governance Council, the development of and execution of strategic priorities, staffing and budget plans for the enterprise.
  • Represents the company's Nuclear and Enterprise Technical Learning as a functional learning expert and technical leader in peer and national benchmarking / accreditation forums. This includes but is not limited to WANO, NRC, USA100, and INPO engagements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Ten years of responsible nuclear power plant experience, with a minimum of five years of managerial experience, of which two years should be nuclear training manager experience.
  • Must possess additional specialized training or experience in an area of Technical Learning and development.
  • Senior Reactor Operator's (SRO) License, SRO Certification or US military credential preferred.

Non-Bargaining
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $189,500.00 to $240,166.66 per year

Pay and benefit packages may vary based on position. Some employees are under collective bargaining agreements, which determine the benefits they will receive.
